Wisdom Tooth Removal in Sunny Isles Beach
Be smart — there’s no better time than the present to take care of your wisdom teeth.
Do I Need To Get My Wisdom Teeth Removed?
The Answer Might Surprise You…
Not everyone’s wisdom teeth need to be removed. If they’re not causing you pain, aren’t crowding or damaging neighboring teeth, and aren’t causing any other problems, it might be fine to leave them alone. But that said, only experienced dentists like Dr. Frank and Dr. Diane can help you make the right decision for your health.
Using high-tech 3D imaging technology we can help you see your wisdom teeth, how they’re impacting your dental health today, and what problems they may cause down the road. We’ll review our findings with you and help you make the right decision for your health.
Speak with a dentist at Sedation Dentistry of Sunny Isles today. Call (786) 629-1503 to schedule your wisdom tooth consultation.

Sedation Dentistry Options
Plus we offer a variety of sedation options for all treatments, including wisdom tooth extractions. During your consultation talk to your dentist about any apprehension you’re feeling and we’ll provide a safe and effective sedation option to meet your needs.
General Anesthesia
This is the deepest form of sedation and allows you to be 100% “asleep” during your entire wisdom tooth extraction. With the help of an experienced anesthesiologist you’ll feel nothing and be able to recover in our private treatment suites.
Laughing Gas (Nitrous Oxide)
If you don’t opt for general anesthesia, this odorless gas helps patients feel relaxed and worry-free before and during your wisdom tooth extraction. You just breathe normally through a comfortable mask on your nose. You’ll feel the effects quickly and they’ll wear off in just a few minutes.
Oral Sedation
If you’re worried before your wisdom tooth extraction, a prescription medication can help take the edge off before your visit. Ask your oral surgeon about the different medications available and which might be best for your needs.
Twilight Sedation
Also called conscious IV sedation, this sedation option allows you to be “awake” during your treatment. You’ll feel dreamy and relaxed and won’t have any memory of the treatment after it’s over.
